Managing Photos

As the holiday season is upon us, many of you will be taking pictures with your digital cameras and then sharing those with friends and family. Some tips to make the process easier:

1. Use an application like Picasa to manage your memory cards and pictures instead of the software provided by the camera vendor. They are typically easier to use and have more functionality.

2. Use an online service such as Flickr.com, Snapfish.com or Photobucket.com to share your photos. It’s faster, more flexible and your friends and family can have the photos of their choice professionaly printed at the retailer closest to them.
