It allows you to capture images or videos from your screen and add voice-over or drawn figures with text explanation. The best feature is that you can upload your video or images to a screencast.com account (free when you download jing) and send the URL to others so they can easily see your explanations from email or IM.</p>

It is intended for users with multiple computers on the desk (e.g. a desktop plus a laptop). Synergy also merges the clipboards of all the systems into one and synchronizes screen-savers.
